Stanley R. Kopilow
Stanley R. Kopilow has been practicing law for 32 years. Mr. Kopilow received his Bachelor's degree from SUNY Stony Brook in 1969. He graduated from Brooklyn Law School in 1972. He has been practicing in New York ever since.
Mr. Kopilow founded the firm in 1990. He also serves as the Prosecuting Attorney for the Villages of Hewlett Bay Park and Woodsburgh. Mr. Kopilow previously served as an Assistant District Attorney for Nassau County from 1972-76. Mr. Kopilow handles cases dealing with criminal law in all phases - from initial police questioning, to arrest, to pre-trial hearings and through trial.
Stanley Kopilow is admitted to the New York State Bar, the United States District Court, Eastern District of New York, the Southern District of New York and the United States Court of Appeals, Second Circuit. Mr. Kopilow is also a member of the Nassau County Bar Association and the Criminal Courts Bar Association of Nassau County.
Michael T. Hopkins
Michael T. Hopkins has been practicing law in New York for over 28 years. He attended St. John's University, receiving his Bachelor's degree in 1971 and his law degree in 1976. Mr. Hopkins is a founding member of the firm as well.
Mr. Hopkins was a Deputy County Attorney from 1976-1983. Mr. Hopkins has served as the Village Attorney for Plandome Manor since 1996 and also served as the Village Attorney for Valley Stream from 1985-91.
Mr. Hopkins typically handles cases that deal with personal injury claims as well as Medical/Dental Malpractice. He also specializes in all aspects of municipal and civil litigation, including contract disputes, 18 USC §1983 actions and tort (civil offense) cases. Mr. Hopkins has been admitted to the New York State Bar, the United States District Court, Eastern and Southern Districts of New York, the United States Court of Appeals, Second Circuit and the United States Supreme Court.
Scott D. Stadtman
Scott D. Stadtman is a former Nassau County Assistant District Attorney and has been practicing law for 25 years. He attended St. John's University Law School and practices criminal law in all phases, including pre-trial hearings, arrests, questioning and trials.
Mr. Stadtman is admitted to the New York State Bar. He is also admitted to the United States District Court, Eastern District and is a member of the New York State Bar Association.
Nicholas F. Miraglia
Nicholas F. Miraglia has been practicing law for 9 years in the state of New York. He attended Hofstra Law School and practices in the areas of Personal Injury and Medical/Dental Malpractice.
